Nearly four decades of studio practice: A block south of the Pike St. Market in Seattle overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains; in a live-in loft in Los Angeles; several warehouse spaces in Houston; and 'The Library' studio in the School of Fine Arts in the Newtown suburb of Sydney, Australia; before locating in The Hills of NW Sydney. My work, while often driven by an intuitive process, continues to utilise an Abstract language begun in the Northwest. From the Pacific Rim influences of Japanese and Chinese painting, and calligraphy, with exposure to Native American, Southeast Asian and Aboriginal visual story-telling, the work wears the marks of each cultural place's contribution - unique to each nation's people and history, and region of the globe.
